If whatever you hook up to those posts happens to short out 5 years from now, there is no fuse that will blow. The testing described in post #9 confirmed that there was power to the plug and good wires up to the motor, therefore power to the motor. I do not think the fan is dead, because the smaller fan works with ac, but neither work when AC is off. Finally, something that I find is often overlooked is that the 30 post and the 75X post are *completely UN-FUSED*. In one post I read that the thermal fan switch failure results in the fan either running continuously or never running at all. Hope somebody finds these instructions helpful.
