i honestly dont believe it would be a driver issue but i guess anything could be possible.. The sound was working perfectly but after a few minutes I got a blue screen which didn't go away, so i restarted my computer. Also have a Sound Blaster card also using the other small PCI-E 2 slots as well. Sabertooth is not drastically different.. have a peek here

This is in Asus's hands now, the reseller already swapped the board over for a brand new one, so they have done what they legally have to. Fact is after two Sabertooth Z87's the issue is still ongoing and has not been resolved. Im really perplexed as to what's causing this, but Asus are the manufacturer so they are responsible for this. I have never, ever had a problem with PCI devices. He had to wait a whole year just to install a second hard drive.
UPDATE – Flashed bios with latest software;- Asus PCI-E Card works in middle and bottom PCIEx1 slots, but not the top. Oh, and dead or dying slots are the reason I won't buy ASRock boards ever again. Hoping it's just a bios fix as I need this slot to work!! There was a new BIOS released yesterday/overnight ..
I can confirm I have the exact same issue with the Asus Z87-Plus and spent over a month of back and forth with the store I bought it from and eventually Ever.
