This computer was brand new and no one had messed with it. The current installed Win10 driver was 154028.4501 with release date of Aug 12, 2016. He changed my video card, and voilà, I have now two monitors effectively working on my desk. I could power the acer on and off, it it would come on for like 3 seconds, then blink off. BTW, main reason I upgraded to Win 10 was that I can have %^&* Start menu back again. Either that or I disabled it sometime when I was trying to hook up my miniDV camera to record my screen and was having problems.Anyway, it's fixed now, me being an Windows 10 3 Monitors And the problem was solved!
I'm going to try restarting to attempt to fix the issue.EDIT2: Ok, restart didn't do it, but it seems that it was an issue in CCC. I check the little "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" box, click okay, the system thinks about that for a few secs and then greys out the second monitor again. Now I am enjoying 2 LG 24" LCD monitors running extended display using DVI to HDMI conversion cables (HDMI connection at monitor end). but the strange thing is that when I plug my ols 17 viewsonic back all is good!!. Choosing extend desktop would just flash the screen and ignore my changes.

Have not had any problems until AMD asked for an update today and ok'd it and then the problem started and knocked out my third monitor. Nothing is working and I do not want to revert to a previous OS state and lose some program settings. As I was downloading the drivers, my monitors got fixed... Please add any additional comments or explanation (optional)
